Installing a cat flap on a sectional or up-and-over garage door, or a more traditional entrance door (PVC door for example), is generally done in the same way as installing a porthole.
The video below shows you how to make the necessary hole cleanly and without damaging your door.
To install a cat flap on a metal garage door, i.e. not insulated, you will need to use a disc grinder.
This cat flap is delivered with a spacer allowing it to be placed without hindrance on a door up to 50mm thick. If your door is not insulated (single sheet metal door for example), you will not have to use this finishing spacer to install your cat flap.
