Most antennas being a simple soldered wire (usually black wire) on the engine electronic board make sure you are equipped with a soldering iron + tin to desolder the old and resolder the new antenna.
This universal antenna is compatible with all types of motorization and automatism operating on the 433 MHz frequency and improves reception quality (useful in areas with strong urban interference).
It is advisable to install this antenna outdoors preferably at a good height.
To increase the sensitivity of the antenna it will be necessary to completely remove the old one* (usually a black wire antenna), in fact the antenna wire installed on the motor does not extend (nor overlap) because its length is defined to the nearest cm to be compatible with the frequency of the transmitters.
If you connect this type of external antenna you will have to completely remove the original antenna (the black wire coming out of the engine) otherwise the total length of the final antenna (original antenna wire + new antenna) would be too important and you will have a very bad reception or even zero.
The 6m coaxial wire, on the other hand, can be cut to any length you want.
