A double rail allows a complete guidance of the garage door leaf. The roller top panel is guided in its own rail.

This also makes it possible to use a sectional door entirely manually, as the top panel is self-adhesively pressed against the garage door frame in the closed position, unlike the monorail system, which requires a motor to press the top panel against the frame.
